Daily Photo Journal February 28th, 2009 This morning has been great. We began to wake from our slumber this morning around 7:00ish. First it was my wife, then my Ella Bella Cinderella, then my Natalie, them me and then by good friend from Austin who laid his head to rest here not but 6 hours earlier. I love the stirring in the house when we are all home. Laura had already started breakfast and the smell of bacon was permeating all rooms of the house. Coffee brewing was almost enough to give me the jolt of caffeine that I needed to fully open my optics. We all made our way to the living room without saying word. It was like going to a funeral where no one talks, but you all know why you are there. Except today it was not because of death, it was because of the food we were about to devour. The wife made an awesome breakfast. It is an omelet egg wrap. The egg is the wrap and it is filled with cheese and bacon. Mmmmmmm....Once we were filled to the top of our throats, Bush packed up and … [Read more...]

Daily Photo Journal February 27th, 2009 Today has been the closest to a day off that I have had in quite some time. I woke up and took my girls to school this morning and then came back home and sat on the couch and worked on some photo's from a shoot the other day. Then I went to meeting with a fellow staff member over lunch and then came back and laid on the couch some more. Finally, at about 3:20pm after watching some of Ellen I thought that it may be good to take a shower before I go and shoot some pics for my good friend Rob Gotcher's CD release show tonight. What time do you take your shower and get ready on your day off? … [Read more...]

Daily Photo Journal February 26th, 2009 I don't know about you, but this week has been uber busy for us. Every night this week we have had something. I have found it so busy, that I have not even had time to get quiet and journal and think. So tonight when I got home, I did just that. I sat down and got some things out on paper. With that said, I am going to go and hang with my wife. Have a great night. … [Read more...]

Daily Photo Journal February 24th, 2009 My poor little girl was sicker than a dog the past few days. She threw up for the first time ever on Sunday afternoon and then did it again that night. I can do a lot of things...Throw Up is not one of them. It is days like that that I am thankful that I am married to a nurse. She went to school Monday morning and the school called that afternoon to tell us she threw up peaches. Today my wife stayed home with her all day. I got to come home and lay and watch movies with my youngest tonight. It was nice to just sit and cuddle with her. … [Read more...]

Daily Photo Journal February 23rd, 2009 Today was insane. Starting at 5:00am and ending at 1:00am makes for a long day. This was a huge day for us. We have been dreaming of getting our homeless buddy Kyle off the streets for months and tonight started what is going to be a great tour in the next month. Thanks to Colleyville Heritage High School's organzation Students Standing Strong for hosting us. With close to 500 students there we felt like we are going to be able to make significant life change for Kyle. By the time we got loaded out and dropped everything off and I walked in my door it was 1:00am. My body is not used to 20hr days, but I did it. So here are some photo's of our day today. Hope you enjoy!!! Me and Jeremy Peterson Rockin' it for the crowd... Load In and Set Up Just before we raised the back light truss... Daily Photo Journal February 22nd, 2009 Long week this past week. Got to the end of the day and was tired, but needed to decompress. So I grabbed a book and curled up in my bed while my wife slept peacefully right next to me. This next week is going to be a wild one, but it will be good. Remedy Tour tomorrow night at Colleyville Heritage High School. Come out if you are in the Dallas area. Would love to see you. … [Read more...]
