We love to have breakfast for dinner and tonight we had Chocolate Chip Pancakes. This is one of our favorites. We douse them in butter and stack them with banana's. It is a grand affair. The other night we went to dinner at Mi Pueblo. For the kids they bring Oreo Cookies to the table. We brought them home and used them as a treat a few days later. Daily Photo Journal February 2, 2009 After last week I was pretty spent today. For some reason speaking yesterday took it out of me more than normal. So today I took my required personal retreat day for the month of February. My day has been filled with reading, writing, taking a shower, getting ready, lunch with my wife and now back home doing some more reading and writing. I have been listening to the 1967 Creme album "Disraeli Gears" and have not once turned on the t.v. today. Decided to snap today's pics while I was getting ready to lunch with my wife. Cannot decide which to use so I will show you both today. By the way...I had a turkey burger, broccoli, banana, and a water for lunch. Not to shabby. I am also down six pounds in the last week. Daily Photo Journal February 1, 2009 The first day of February and I got the privilege to speak to my body that has been entrusted to me here in Roanoke, TX. It was a great day as we talked about the church and what it truly means to be just that. We saw three people join today and a bunch of first time families. We set off smoke alarms in our first service and the Holy Spirit descended on our people all morning long. Hope you had a great Sunday. Time to crash and take a nap..THEN...SUPERBOWL!!!
