So much of my life has been me trying to figure this question out. Who am I? I try hard to wear every title I have ever with excellence, but the thing about them is that none of them, no matter how worthy they may seem, ever fulfill who I want to be. Tonight as I was speaking at our Colleyville campus I realized in the middle of speaking that I get the privilege to speak to a couple thousand people this weekend. Then I had a very humbling thought. “I am not worthy to be doing this…who am I?” I mean I wear titles like husband, father, preacher, photographer, musician…etc., but who am I? Here is what I was reminded of tonight…”I am a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ!!!” All those other titles, be it that they are good titles, are not worth a thing if my true identity is not “A HUMBLE SERVANT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!” What is your identity and what are you hanging on to as your identity?

Trevor

What makes me...well...me? There are a lot of things that make up the complexities of who I am. I love God, my wife, my two little girls, and all types of crazy interesting people. I love good conversation, a bit of controversy, rebellion with a cause, and hot green tea. I love to write, read, take photos, and spend time on my patio with good friends and my beautiful family. Scripture confuses, perplexes, intrigues, and floors me. It brings me hope, joy, and frustration. I work for one of the greatest churches in the country with the greatest team ever assembled. We will challenge you and your staff to a duel on the playground at 3:10 on any afternoon. This space is for us to conversate and share thoughts on life, love, creativity, and ministry. Welcome to my little nook of the web. I hope you will come in, take off your shoes and stay awhile.
