I always grew up hearing both sides of the civil rights movement. For some it was a call to arms. A call to fight against those of a different color. To others it was peace and unity for all of God’s children. I have watched and read this speech by the late Dr. King and I have to say that we would be hard pressed to negate the fact that what he speaks here is exactly what Christ speaks to all of mankind. This speech was not new when it was spoken. God has been giving this speech from the beginning of time. I hope you will take the 17 min 28 sec to watch and hear a message of freedom and hope. I have a dream too…and my dream is for all of mankind to find peace and unity and freedom in Christ himself.

What makes me...well...me? There are a lot of things that make up the complexities of who I am. I love God, my wife, my two little girls, and all types of crazy interesting people. I love good conversation, a bit of controversy, rebellion with a cause, and hot green tea. I love to write, read, take photos, and spend time on my patio with good friends and my beautiful family. Scripture confuses, perplexes, intrigues, and floors me. It brings me hope, joy, and frustration. I work for one of the greatest churches in the country with the greatest team ever assembled.
