Daily Photo Journal March 6th, 2009 In 18 days me and seven other people will be hitting the road on tour with our non-for-profit organization Remedy For This Heart to raise money to get a homeless friend of ours off the streets. We have been planning this tour for months and had raised the better part of $8000.00 to cover costs. We did so, so that every penny that we make on this tour would go to help our friend. Now here is where it takes a twist. Two weeks ago I got a call from one of our major donors saying that the $5000.00 they had committed was no longer there and they were not going to be able to help. I immediately went into panic and stress mode. About a week into some intense prayer I began to pick up the phone and ask to meet with four different people that I felt God had laid on my heart to talk to. Daily Photo Journal February 23rd, 2009 Today was insane. Starting at 5:00am and ending at 1:00am makes for a long day. This was a huge day for us. We have been dreaming of getting our homeless buddy Kyle off the streets for months and tonight started what is going to be a great tour in the next month. Thanks to Colleyville Heritage High School's organzation Students Standing Strong for hosting us. With close to 500 students there we felt like we are going to be able to make significant life change for Kyle. By the time we got loaded out and dropped everything off and I walked in my door it was 1:00am. My body is not used to 20hr days, but I did it. So here are some photo's of our day today.
